Very
good condition, necklace has been rebeaded on new cords with new knot
caps for security. The original necklace is from about 1930s. The
filigree clasp is original and has aging with small signs of verdigris
(mostly cleaned now). The beads are hand-cut black faceted glass and
clear bicones.

condition, the plating has worn off on most parts of the metal, now
revealing the greyish silvertone base. Lots of aging, the glue has also
turned brown as seen from the back. The settings have a fleur-de-lis
design, rather unique and also ends with a matching charm on the end. It
is still wearable if you like the old shabby look as the hardware are
all still secure, or you can take some time to paint it perhaps. The
green marbled square cabochons are made of lucite plastic. 1950s.

good - excellent condition. Rebeaded necklace, the new knot caps are
made of sterling silver. Old fashioned spring ring clasp (does not have a
thumb knob) is original to the necklace. The original cords had broke
and it was once temporarily fixed with wire decades ago and then it
broke again, so there were a few missing clear hand-cut spacers; I have
replaced a few to make them tally. There are very slight nicks on the
beads' facets from bumping around. This is likely Czechoslovakia in
origin because of the fabulous quality, beautiful lemon yellow bohemian
glass (crystal) graduating beads with many facets. The necklace weighs
heavy because of the quality of the beads, nicer in person. 1920s-30s.

This does not look worn though as the beads are very clean. The beads
are made of bone, and since it is an organic material, it has absorbed
the smell of other old things it has been stored for years with. It is
not a perfume smell, but the smell of 'vintage' so take note if you have
a particularly sensitive nose. Necklace is intricately woven on nylon
cords, weighs heavy from all the materials.

'JAPAN' on the clasp. Very good condition, aging on the brass J-hook
with lots of patina. The faux pearls on the centerpiece are all replaced
with new high quality Japanese faux pearls in off-white with a pinkish
lustre. The end of the extender carries the original faux pearl which is
an off-white with a yellowish lustre. Clear rhinestones have minor
aging but still sparkling, and the antiqued-silvertone plating is
intact. The connector link chain have minor normal aging, they are
accented with little flowers in nouveau style. 1950s.

condition, the pendant has some scuffs on the surface from bumping
around. This is a very high quality faux pearl, made of heavy glass and
with a thick faux nacre coating. The colours are grey with darker grey
marbling. The drop does have a few flea bites on the surface. It is
probably older than the chain, about 1950s or older? I have attached it
to a newer 1970s-80s chain marked '18GP ITALY' and a logo with an 'N' in
it (18k white gold plated chain).

good condition with slight scuffs on the faux pearl . This is a very
high quality glass drop with a dark grey coating that is irridescent. It
also weighs heavy and is probably 1950s or earlier. There are some flea
bites on the surface but nothing serious. The chain is not original to
the pendant, it is a skinny antiqued-goldtone patina that matches the
pendant.
