VINTAGE 'ART' THERMOSET SHIMMER LUCITE TRIANGULAR EARRINGS
Price: S$4.00 (US$3.33)

Size: 36 x 35mm
Signed 'ART©', only average condition. Front has chips on plating, rub-offs at the corners of the design, revealing a grey silvertone base. The plating has chipped off a lot at the back (see 3rd photo) where the brass base is revealed for the clips, plating unevenness on the underside of the clips, and the grey silvertone for the base. Aging on the glue and some scuffs on the lucite. Despite all these, the earrings are still wearable as the flaws are mostly on the back. 1950s.

VINTAGE TRIPLE FACETED GLASS BEADED RHINESTONE EARRINGS

Size: 25mm
Good condition, wear on the silvertone clips revealing a brass base & aging. One bead has a chip but this is not obvious when worn as the beads are faceted anyway. The beads are suspended on a rhinestone prong end pin, faceted beads appear to be made of glass/crystal. Clip earrings. 1950s/60s.

VINTAGE S&G 5th AVE SCALLOPED AB-RHINESTONE EARRINGS

Size: 22 x 25mm
Signed 'S&G 5th Ave' on the clips & '©S & G' on the earrings. Only average condition, plating chipping off revealing a grey base on the earrings surface and also aging on the piece. The clips also have plating chip, revealing the brass base. Pale goldtone with ab-rhinestones. The florettes are in relief (3-D, not flat). Probably 1950s/60s.

VINTAGE PAKULA FLORAL AB-RHINESTONE EARRINGS

Signed 'PAKULA©'. Good condition on the front, back is in fine condition; has some wear on the plating at the back and on the clips. Also aging. There is a small chip on one of the ab rhinestone but this is not seen when worn. Pale goldtone ab-rhinestones floral and leaves cluster design, the rhinestones flash a pretty pink. Probably 1950s/60s. Pakula & Co. operated from the 1932- 1990s.

VINTAGE TEN AB-RHINESTONES CURVED CLIP EARRINGS

Size: 33 x 13m
Fine - good condition with normal wear on the plating at the back, ab-rhinestones have scuffs and some wearing down of the ab-coating. The quality is pretty good with smooth plating, I believe it is designer but unsigned. All rhinestones are prong-set, note that one stone is darker than the rest. 1950s/60s.

VINTAGE MAPLE LEAF TRIPLE RHINESTONE EARRINGS

Size: 34 x 32mm
Good condition, aging on goldtone, there is also some wear of the plating at the back. Clip earrings. Three still shiny rhinestones prong-set along the center, minor normal scuffs on it. The surface of the leaf has stripes with dots, size is on the large side. 1950s/60s.

Good condition with lots of aging, hooks and jumprings having patina and some wear & aging on the lightweight wooden beads. Chunky design. 1970s/80s.

RETRO CHUNKY PAINT SWIPES PURPLE METAL EARRINGS

Average condition, still wearable, aging on the metal, some rust spots appearing at the back where the plating has chipped off at 2 of the edges of one of the earring. The front has some scuffs, a few tiny nicks on the plating, also some dull areas on the purple from aging. Epoxy on enamel, silvertone clips. 1980s.

Good condition with minor aging on goldtone, some scuffs on the epoxy. Clips have also aged. Lightweight earrings in pale goldtone. 1980s.

RETRO APPLE GREEN ENAMEL GOLDTONE ROUND EARRINGS

Size: 21mm
Fine - good condition, some scuffs & small streaking on the enamel surface, not noticeable when worn. Aging on the back of one earring, the clips have aged too and shows some wear on the gold-plating. The bottom of the earrings had a loop but soldered off, also the clips are attached to what were originally posts for pierced ears. The colour is a bright apple green. 1980s.

Good condition with aging and some scuffs on the goldtone back. Clip earrings. There are some scuffs on the enamel/epoxy from being bumped around. These were originally post earrings but the previous had converted them to clips, which are marked 'Pat 3159894'. 1980s.

Good condition, unworn retro stock. There are some scuffs streaks on the surface and 2 dots that were from bumping around. Posts are probably surgical steel. Enamel metal earrings, the shimmer carries a golden tint.

Very good condition with aging on the clips, please note they are different - one's silvertone one's a replacement brass clip. Minor scuffs on the front, earrings are plastic with gold paint and black squiggles on the front, lightweight. 1980s.

VINTAGE MODERNIST BLUE SWIRL POWDERED ENAMEL COPPER EARRINGS
Price: S$30.00 (US$25.00)

Size: 45 x 17mm
Good condition with aging. Please note of the verdigris occuring on the back of the rectangular piece, this is normal as it is aged copper, though I have cleaned off most of it. The fronts are made of speckles of powdered enamel in a swirly abstract design, there is a punched hole on the bottom for an artistic effect. Artisan-made probably from the 1950s. Modernist jewellery are pieces that are wearable pieces of art focusing on design and form.

VINTAGE BLUE RHINESTONE BABY BLUE FLORAL RIBBON EARRINGS

Size: 25 x 31mm
Fine - good condition with aging. There is a rust spot on the bottom of the right piece, some glue stuck on the surface of its clip as well (the area facing out). Goldtone has dulled a little but generally plating still intact on the back. A lovely design; blue rhinestones embedded in the center of two petals and a textured bow. Probably 1940s/50s.

VINTAGE BLUE IRIDESCENT FLECKS CABOCHON SILVERTONE EARRINGS

Size: 27 x 22mm
Fine condition, mostly because of plating on the back revealing a brass base (see 3rd photo). The fronts are alright with some scratches on the front cabochon, not noticeable when worn. The cabochon appears to be made of glass with imbedded floating rainbow flecks, not sure if they are opal flakes or mother-of-pearl, quite lovely. It is bordered by a silvertone leaf border. 1960s/70s.

VINTAGE BLUE BEADED STAR FLOWER EARRINGS

Size: 32mm
Very good condition on the front. Clips have lots of aging (patina on brass), one of them has a white substance near the hinge, probably the previous owner used something to kill the verdigris (green oxidation) occurring, that area has some discoloration now. The earrings are otherwise sound in construction, the petals are made of faceted acrylic beads beaded into a cluster, probably West German beads, this is a chunky design. Probably 1960s.

VINTAGE JAPAN SATIN PINK PURPLE BEADED CLUSTER EARRINGS

Signed 'JAPAN'. Fine condition on the fronts, mostly due to the aging headpins showing some green oxidation. The clips are in very good condition with minor aging. The beads are made of purple faceted glass and satin pale pink beads. 1950s.

VINTAGE JAPAN YELLOW-OFF-WHITE FAUX PEARL CLUSTER EARRINGS

Size: 19mm
Signed 'Japan' on the clips. Very good condition on the fronts, fine condition on the backs. The clips do have aging, they are a pale goldtone over brass (see 3rd photo). Minor scuffs on the faux pearls, they are beaded into a cluster with pale yellow and white faux pearls, the top bead is a darker yellow. The cluster is not perfectly round but more oval and stacked. 1950s.

VINTAGE WHITE FAUX PEARL GLASS BEAD CLUSTER EARRINGS

Size: 26mm
Average condition, a few of the faux pearls have chips on their coats, not too noticeable when worn as they are white bases. The backs have alot of aging, the silvertone has worn off some to reveal the brass base, it had verdigris (green oxidation) occuring but mostly cleaned off, some still remains in the grooves where it was hard for me to clean. The cluster is made of off-white faux pearls with faceted glass beads. 1950s.

Good condition with aging on the clips (discoloring of silvertone). Clip earrings. Plastic beaded (not certain of which plastic) cluster earrings in opaque black, translucent brown and goldtone plastic beads; beadwork is still tight. Clips still contains a pair of rubber padding still intact.

VINTAGE MARINO FAUX PEARL DOILY FILIGREE EARRINGS

Size: 34mm
Signed 'MARINO' & 'PAT. 1967965' (this is a patent for the clip design dated 1934). Good condition with some aging, had minor verdigris (green oxidation) but cleaned most of it off. A couple minor chips on the white paint on the front, minor wear on the clips' gold-plating. Faux pearl has some scuffs on the surface. Crinkle filigree in enamel white and goldtone. 1950s/60s.

Signed '©SARAH COV', entitled 'Town and Country' probably 1960s. Fine condition with chips on the plating in front, not particularly noticeable when worn as the plating is a very pale goldtone. Back also has some wear and aging. Verdigris (green oxidation) had occured on the clips but mostly removed already.

VINTAGE BROWN GLITTER FLECKS GLASS COPPER EARRINGS

Size: 11 x 17mm
Good condition but with lots of aging on the clips, it has turned dark (used to be silvertone over brass/copper). The glass domes are set in a copper bezel which has alot of patina. Some verdigris (green oxidation) has occurred but mostly cleaned off, a little may still be visible in the crevices where I couldn't reach. Simple glass cabochons with a glittery brown on screw-back clips. Probably 1950s or earlier.

Fine condition with aging, scuffs on the matte gold and also on the green epoxy. The scratches on the epoxy are near the hinges because of the top portion slipping over the area when not worn. For pierced ears.

Fine condition with some scratches and cuffs on the front surface. Aging on the glue as well (turning dark yellow), and some minor rust spots on the clips. These clip earrings are still highly wearable.

RETRO AVON WHITE PLASTIC GOLDTONE SWIRL EARRINGS

Size: 57 x 38mm
Good condition with some wear on the goldtone, aging on the piece as well, it used to have verdigris but is already removed. The white swirl is made of plastic. For pierced ears. I saw an identical piece in an Avon book but these do not have their original clutches.
