VINTAGE AVON 1973 'GODDESS DIANA PENDANT' NECKLACE B

Size: 25" chain, 37 x 53mm pendant

Signed 'AVon©'. Very good condition, slight scuffs on the glass. The intaglio features the goddess of the hunt, moon and birthing, Diana. There is a deer beside her and she is holding a bow. The image is frosted with a clear background, I also have another version that is totally clear. From 1973.

RETRO BARBIE KITSCH HEART NECKLACE

Size: 15.75" chain, 29 x 30mm pendant
Good condition, pendant has some scuffs on it. Chain is not original to the pendant. The pendant is a kitsch cheap jewel-like resin or acrylic heart in pale pink and within it is sealed a Barbie print that has a style from the 1980s.

Excellent condition, chain is not original to pendant and is newer. The gemstone is apple green and so pretty, it could be chrysoprase (based on its colour and structure). Silvertone (whitetone) chain.

VINTAGE GREEN GEMSTONE CUBE RHINESTONE NECKLACE

Size: 16" chain, 5mm cube
Very good condition, tiny cube bead made of a green gemstone, probably jade. It has tiny rhinestones on all 4 sides, because of the drilled holes and nature of the stone, the surface have inclusions. Goldtone chain is still shiny.

VINTAGE RHINESTONE BLACK PLASTIC CLUSTER CHOKER NECKLACE

Size: 11.75-13.75" length, 21mm width

Good condition, melded plastic settings with clear rhinestones, the rhinestones have slight aging but mostly sparkling. The black plastic base have slight scuffs and aging. There is a large rhinestone dangling at the end of the extender which has some nicks on the faceted edges. This necklace is meant to be worn close to the neck like a dog collar choker. J-hook clasp. Probably 1960s.

RETRO 9 STRANDS OF FAUX PEARL PASTEL NECKLACES

 

 

Size: about 34" length, 3 - 4.5mm beads

9 strands of plastic faux pearls, the pink strand is loose cords. The others are fine. there are round ones and rectangular baroque ones in off white, lilac, white and pinks.

VINTAGE DAVIAN STERLING SILVER PLAIN CHAIN NECKLACE

Size: 18.25" length, 2mm width

Signed 'DAVIAN PATENT 3427691' on the clasp. This is a patent for the clasp design issued 18 Feb 1969, you push the ring against the lever to open it and pull the ring to close it securely. This is sterling silver but is not hallmarked. It has a lovely patina from age, and is smooth and drapes good.

VINTAGE HONG KONG TROPICAL YELLOW GREEN ORANGE NECKLACE

Size: about 52" length, 8 - 11mm beads 

Marked 'HONG KONG'. Fine condition, some of the beads (yellow and green) have chipped paintcoats revealing their white bases, not in the majority but some have larger chips than others, you can spot it in the photos. You can probably retouch it with some paint or nail enamel if you mind it. Foldover clasp. 1960s.

VINTAGE GOLD FLAKES LUCITE NECKLACE & EARRINGS DEMI SET


Necklace: 16" chain, 43 x 16mm pendant including bail
Earrings: 23 x 14mm
Good condition, chain is not original to the pendant, it is a slightly different goldtone than the bail. Aging on the top and the bail, some wear to the plating. Earrings are in good condition too with aging on the brass screw-back clips, there are dark spots and slight verdigris occurring under the glue. I have cleaned most of it off. This design is a pendulum-shape with gold flakes and a green stone (probably turquoise) sealed within the lucite, clear on top, black base. 1950s.

VINTAGE GREEN GEMSTONE CHIPS BANGLE & NECKLACE DEMI SET


Necklace: 24" chain, 87 x 34mm including jump ring
Bangle: abt 6.5" circumference, 10 - 24mm width
Necklace is in very good-excellent condition. It is antiqued goldtone with a lovely pendant consisting of chipped green gemstones (jade? aventurine?) and faux pearls. The hinged bangle is in good - very good condition with aging on the polished surface, shows up as dulling. The bangle does not shut exactly center to center due to the end of the faux pearls jutting out and preventing it so. It closes securely still. 1960s-70s.

VINTAGE SILVERY GREEN LEAF BROOCH & EARRINGS DEMI SET


Brooch: 60 x 45mm
Earrings: 23 x 22mm
Earrings marked 'PAT.156452'. Fine condition on the earrings, normal aging and the gold-plating has worn off to reveal silvertone base on the clips. The edges of the design (the polished areas) appears to be silvertone on purpose however, or it could be that the gold-plating has worn off? The front has a painted pearlscent green to silver gradient which fades off to the gold-plating. The brooch is also in fine-good condition with some wear on the bottom of the back of the brooch. On one of the leaves in front (fourth from the left top), there is a ding on the surface, this could be a manufacturing defect or damage from storage. The swivel clasp is a little looser than normal so I will include a rubber clutch to prevent the pin from getting lost. Brooch weighs on the heavy side. 1950s.

Earrings: 23mm
Necklace is marked 'West Germany'. Earrings are not marked, this set is not originally together but they match with the pearly white lucite. The earrings are in good condition, clips have aging, there is discolouration of the glue turning brown. Necklace is in excellent condition, made of plastic beads, ab-white, milky white, faux pearl, white with gold etches, pale goldtone melon-shaped spacers and white seed beads in 3 strands. J-hook clasp. 1950s/60s.

Unworn retro stock, all plastic. Necklace has a spring ring clasp. Earrings are for pierced ears. Normal usual scuffs on the bangle and earrings but overall great condition. Made in Hong Kong, a pastel yellow colour. 1970s-80s.

VINTAGE GREY THERMOSET LUCITE NECKLACE DEMI SET

Earrings: 23 x 14mm
Necklace: 14-16" adjustable length, 14mm width
Necklace is in very good condition, the only problem is aging glue that has turned brown; it looks barely worn. The earrings are in fine-good condition, the main flaw is plating chips on the clips revealing the brass base, also aging glue. One clip is slightly looser than the other due to it being adjusted by its previous owner. 1950s.

VINTAGE CHERRY PINK LUCITE THERMOSET NECKLACE


Earrings: 25 x 15mm
Necklace: 13.5-17" adjustable length, 14mm width
Earrings are in fine condition, peeling of the goldtone plating revealing a silvertone on the clips and backs, the fronts have some wear to the leaves. The necklace is in good condition, the fronts are alright, the backs and chain has some wear and aging, the linked hinges have normal chipping of plating from contact. Pretty design with cherry pink moonglow lucite thermoset pieces on a yellow goldtone leaf base, the pink is prettier and more vibrant in person. 1950s.

Very good condition, some wear on the goldtone and aging. The chain is new and unworn stock. The earring clutches are also new marked 'Monet' pieces though the earrings are not Monet. Earrings and pendant are vintage, a married set (not originally together) but matches perfectly. Earrings are for pierced ears. Probably 1980s.

RETRO COBBLED TEXTURE GOLDTONE NECKLACE - BRACELET SET


Necklace: abt 18.25", 4mm width
Bracelet: 7.25", 5mm width
Necklace is in good condition, minor wear on one side of the edges, and wear on the plating of the lobster clasp. Minor aging, shows up on goldtone as a shade darker. The bracelet is in fine-good condition, there are no problems with the hardware or chain, but the rhinestones have darkened (grey) because of the open-back setting where the foil-backs of the rhinestones have worn off. There is a mark under the foldover clasp, it looks like a triangle and a '35'. It has wear on the plating and some scuffs on the surface. I'm not sure if the pair are originally together, but they share similar textures: cobbled on the top, tiled on the underside. 1970s/80s.

Earrings and necklace are in excellent condition, the brooch has some scuffs on the surface, and aging on the pin-back but still in very good condition. The brooch contains 2 holes for attaching the ear studs to, it is also the lid to a storage box for keeping the necklace. Very clever detail! The bottom of the 'box' is signed ©TORINO. (*consignmt)

Bracelet: abt 6" unstretched, 15mm
Necklace marked 'Hong Kong'. Bracelet is beaded on an elastic cord, recommended to be restrung but it is also alright to wear as is. Both items are in very good condition with normal scuffs. Plastic beads. The necklace closes with a J-hook. 1960s.

RETRO MOTHER-OF-PEARL BEADS DEMI SET

Very good condition. I think these are mother-of-pearl shell beads, they have iridescence and are quite pretty. Necklaces has a fish-hook clasp and you can wear it in double strands. There is a matching pair of earrings. 1980s.

VINTAGE DIAMOND DUST SET



Size: 20 x 10mm (earring), 40 x 18mm (pendant), 17.5" chain
Set of art deco styled clip-on earrings and matching pendant. Never worn, though the chain was missing so I included a vintage used goldplated chain. The box has no cover, the display cardboard is torn quite badly. There is a defect on the left earring, the diamond dust did not extend all the way to the tip of the earring. The set has ageing and is a darker gold colour than what the photo shows. The enamel covering the diamond dust part has turned a bit yellow too. Clip-on earrings are still working well and tight (you probably need to loosen them with pliers or a screwdriver). 1970s.

Skinny dainty chain with an enameled butterfly pendant. Looks rather old too. Patina on the back of the pendant, light wear. The wires holding the pendant has patina too, but the gold-plated chain still remains in good condition. Screw barrel clasp. 1970s.

Pearls are in excellent condition, clasp is in good condition with wear on the plating. Beautiful yellow silky-lustre faux pearls. Nicer in person, high quality. Clasp has a black glass cabochon set in goldtone. Probably 1950s-60s.

VINTAGE GOLDTONE LINKS GRADUATING CHUNKY BLUE BEAD NECKLACE

Size: 33.25" length, 9 - 23mm beads
Good condition, beads have scuffs especially on the parts that click against each other, minor aging. There are also meld lines on the beads, not too sure what plastic this is. The blue beads are suspended on goldtone bar connectors with a spring ring clasp. Probably 1960s-70s.

Size: 16" chain, 22 x 29mm including loop
Unworn vintage pendants, chain is new. Holland's Delft porcelain hand-painted cabs on antiqued-silvertone settings. Released by Hoffman jewelry, 1970s. Please note there is a slight crackle on the glaze on the cabs, and one tiny spot where the glaze is missing on 'B' (ship) but this is barely noticeable.

Signed but I cannot make out the faint signature and a number '290'. Very good-excellent condition, very slight wear on the back and slight age on the rhinestones. Glitzy heart pendant with rhinestones and an emerald green rivoli crystal. Gold-plated slinky chain with lobster clasp. 1980s-1990s.

Size: 24" chain, 49 x 34mm watch including bail
Signed 'Heritage', 'Unbreakable Mainspring Swiss Made', crown logo on top. Beautiful wind-up watch pendant, still ticks when wound, not sure if it keeps time accurately. Very good condition, some scuffs on the surface and normal aging. The watch can be worn in reverse if you don't want to keep it ticking as the back is a lovely raise flower with a striped texture on its petals, it has slight wear on the goldtone. The center faux pearl is a replacement by me. The flower sits on a filigree base. Goldtone chain has some wear and aging. 1950s.

Signed '©AVon'. Excellent condition, lightweight plastic pendant. The top portion has a back hook which attaches the cream coloured charm, the original set came with an additional red and green charm. It is possible to can customise the charm to anything you like.

VINTAGE NAPIER SILVERTONE PLAIN BEAD CHOKER NECKLACE


Size: 14.5 - 16" adjustable length, 6mm beads
Signed 'NAPIER' on the hook. Fine condition, some wear to the bead's plating revealing a copper/brass base, these are on the clasps and on the center of the beads (see last photo). Definitely still wearable, I only noticed it after scrutinising under bright lighting. This necklace is entirely made of metal, the beads are corded on a thin metal chain, the beads consist of plain polished silvertone and a textured matte silvertone. 1950s.

VINTAGE WOODEN FLEUR-DE-LIS HERALDRY MIRROR NECKLACE


Size: 24" chain, 52mm pendant
Very good condition with normal aging, twist chain has very slight wear, towards the pendant. The pendant doubles as a mirror on the back, it is gold-plated and polished; the mirror is not glass but the plating's reflective surface. On the front there are wooden insets and a fleur-de-lis emblem with an enamel coat-of-arms detailling. The mirrored surface has age related spots and some scuffs. Duller towards the edges. The front has normal scuffs. Probably 1960s.

Excellent condition on the pendant, it does not seem worn and is pristine white. The white enamel chain is not original to the pendant, it is vintage as well but has some chips on the coats, revealing the copper base and aging where the white is a slight yellow tint. 1960s.

Very good condition, the chain has minor wear and aging (slight dulling), The necklace consists of triple chains and a large corrugated teardrop-shaped tassel dangles from it. Foldover clasp. Probably 1960s.

Are you a Tina? Maybe you know someone named Tina. Then this necklace may be for you! Good condition, slight scuffs on the front of the pendant, the back has aging and there are 2 dull areas on the plating on the back. The chain is a replacement from another old chain, I used a skinny flat S-coil link. 1970s.

VINTAGE GERMANY ACRYLIC BLACK DISC CONNECTOR NECKLACE

Size: about 48.25" length, 19mm beads

Marked 'MADE IN GERMANY' on the clasp. Very good condition with some scuffs on the beads. They are made of acrylic and wireworked on goldtone aluminum, so this necklace is lightweight. The clasp is a matching box clasp as seen in the last photo. 1960s-70s.

VINTAGE PALE GOLDTONE RIBBON SPRAY NECKLACE

 

Size: 15.75" chain, 50 x 37mm pendant

Average conditon, all the rhinestones have darkened, one of the left dark stones appear to have been replaced by a glass paste rhinestone (the rest are crystals) but the repair seemed to have been done some time back. The gold-plating on the chain and pendant have worn off quite a bit and they have darkened as well. Filigree box clasp. This is for those who don't mind the condition as this was an inexpensive item back in the day, or will like a little restoration project. 1930s-40s.

RETRO HALLMARK CARDS BOUQUET HEART NECKLACE

Size: 16" chain, 26 x 33mm pendant
Signed '©Hallmark Cards, Inc'. Fine condition, mostly due to scratches on the matte plastic, and aging (not pristine clean). It is a very pale pink colour with a stencil style floral bouquet (also has wear). Goldtone chain with spring ring clasp is not original to the pendant.

Unworn vintage stock, it is not signed. The paper tag is damaged. Clips are still tight though there is some oxidation on the metal clips and base. The front consists of ab crystal beads, metal beads with yellow paintwork, and plastic yellow beads knotted into a cluster. 1950s.

Fine condition with ageing (dulling on goldtone) and scratches. It looks like it was worn quite often! The player number is 200, and the middle cabochon is a pretty iridescent lucite with a print of an old-school football girl. 1950s.

VINTAGE W. GERMANY MILK GLASS IRREGULAR BEADED RHINESTONE CHOKER

Size: 13.25 - 15.25", 7 - 11mm irregular beads
Marked 'M.WEST GERMANY'. Good condition with aging on the findings and rhinestones, the threads have some slight discolouration (turning brown) towards the front, the beads are all knotted in between in each other. Beads are a unique molded irregular shape in graduating size, and rhinestone-set silvertone beads. J-hook clasp has some slight rusting. 1950s.

VINTAGE RED THERMOSET LEAF-SHAPED LINK NECKLACE


Size: 15.5" longest length, 17mm width
Very good condition, normal wear on the back hinges, not a problem as the main plating is still very good, aging on the glue and normal minor scuffs on the plastic lucite pieces. The lucite is diamond-shaped with an angled center, the silvertone is half coated in red. J-hook clasp, 1950s Lisner-style, unsigned piece.

VINTAGE QUALITY BLACK FAUX PEARL 17.5" NECKLACE

Size: 17.5" length, 8mm beads
Good condition, the pearls are in very good condition. There is aging on the knot cover. The clasp is an invisible pearl clasp. These are quality pearls with a shiny luster, each are knotted in between, they also weigh heavy which indicates their good quality.

Good-very good condition with some aging, minor discoloration on the whitetone turning a yellow tint. The pendant is a sturdy wirework filigree purse that opens. The chain appears to be aluminum and not original to the pendant. (*consignmt)

VINTAGE SMOOTH SILKY SHEEN GLASS PEARLS 55" NECKLACE

Size: abt 55" length, 8mm
Very good condition, aging on the clasp. These are nice faux pearls knotted in between each other, very smooth, which could be crystal faux pearls. They have a gentle silky sheen in off-white, very close to how genuine pearls are. Spring ring clasp.

VINTAGE SILVERTONE LOCKET ON AVON CHAIN NECKLACE


Size: 22.5" chain, 42 x 32mm locket excluding loop
Chain is in excellent condition, I believe it is not original to the locket, it is signed 'AVon' on a tag. The locket is not signed and most probably from a different source. It is in good condition with some scuffs on the surface; aging on the insides on the holder rims (both of them have some plating affected with corrosion), these rims are removable to store your photos easily. The plastic film is intact. 1970s.

RETRO LATTICE FLOWER FAUX PEARL NECKLACE (repaired)


Size: 16.5" length, 55mm pendant
Fine-good condition, the front is alright with a scratch on the faux pearl, the back though has wear on the gold-plating revealing a greyish base. Normal minor aging. The clasp has also darkened. The faux pearls are made of plastic. This necklace is restrung on new cords, with new clam shell knot covers towards the back. This necklace has a matching bracelet which is not shown, it is not in good condition with lots of wear but I will include it anyway.

Size: 16" - 18.5" adjustable length, 8 - 18mm beads
Very good condition, minor aging with patina on the brass findings. The necklace weighs surprisingly light despite all the chunky beads, the plastic ones are hollow, some of them are bubble style, transparent like a balloon. They are spaced with corrugated goldtone beads. J-hook clasp with extender. 1950s-60s.

Size: 11.5" - 14" adjustable length, 39 x 20mm pendant including bail
Good condition, slight wear and slight aging on the chain. The back of the pendant has 3 small spots of plating chips, front is alright. It's gold-plating is a different tone from the chain (which is a deeper goldtone). The cameo appears to be glass or it could be a carved shell, it is red, beige and sepia coloured. Lightweight piece. J-hook clasp. About 1950s-60s.

Signed '©AVon' on the chain and pendant. Unworn stock but has signs of veridgris on the rim which has affected the plating a little. Overall very good condition. The inner card is a little damaged though. Comes with box but no slip case. Gold-plated with a glass cabochon and iridescent butterfly design.

Very good condition. The pendant weighs heavy and is very large, it has a plastic faux turquoise matrix cabochon set in the center. This has some scratches on it. The chain is rhodium-plated, while the owl has an antiqued-silvertone finish. Nice quality from the 1970s.

Fine condition, main problems are age spots, there are some dark patina spots on the brass and copper on the front which cannot be removed and white substance under along the silver circles (3rd and 4th photo), the hinges on the back have verdigris occurring. The necklace appears to be artisan made, it consists of brass and wood beads, and the larger round beads are brass embedded in the center of dark wooden beads. It can be polished for a shine but the dark spots cannot be removed. Large striking piece, 1970s/80s.

The charm is an unscrewable perfume bottle with a mother-of-pearl shell front, the back has some uneven plating. Aging and scuffs on the charm. I haven't cleaned the insides of the bottle. The clasp is a silvertone fold-over clasp. Probably 1950s.

VINTAGE RATTAN WOVEN BANGLE

Size 7.75" circumference, 6mm width
Fine condition, aging on the piece. Woven rattan(?) strips on a plastic base, there is one area where one of the threads slipped showing a white base. Not a noticeable flaw. Also it used to be covered with glaze or a lacquer but it has worn off. Wearable as is but lasts better if restored with a fresh layer of glaze. Lightweight bangle.


VINTAGE BLACK CARNATIONS LINKED BRACELET


Size: 7" length, 20mm width
Good condition, some chips on the plating at the bottom, mostly at the hinged areas to be expected. There are also a few 'notches' (the ones with the flowers in between) that have plating wear revealing a dark grey base and one of the painted leaves has a paint chip. These are not noticeable when worn. Normal aging. The plastic florals are glued to the base and shows minor wear on top edges, it is a little dusty in between the petals so you may need to further clean it off. Pale goldtone bracelet with foldover clasp. 1950s.

VINTAGE JUBILEE 17 JEWELS NOUVEAU STYLE WATCH BANGLE

Size: 6.5" circumference, 27mm width

Watch face marked 'Jubilee 17 jewels'. Fine condition, due to aging and plating wear but quality elaborate bangle watch with a side hinged bottom for easy wear. It still ticks when wound but I am unable to guarantee that it keeps time accurately or needs to be taken to a watch shop. Plating wear occurs mostly on the inner rim and edges, there are some scratches and nicks consistent with a used watch, also one streak across the watch cover. Aging shows up as dull areas on the plating. Antiqued-goldtone with nouveau detailing, weighs rather heavy, definitely still wearable. Probably 1940s-50s.
