RETRO GOLDTONE SMILING CLOWN FIGURAL BROOCH

Fine- good condition, matte gold wash has scratches on the surface. However when worn, the scratches are not as obvious than when observed from an angle and not too bad at a distance. The back with its shiny gold plating are in very good condition with minor nicks on the edges. This is a rather large and heavy brooch; I have included a rubber clutch for its pin back as the swivel clasp seems alittle loose.

Excellent condition. Looks better in person- my photo did not reflect the goldtone properly... also the actual piece will not have the 'grime' shown in the photo as it is clean! A genuine pearl with a whirlpool design - in shiny gold plate and a goldtone rope chain. There is just very minor wear starting to show on the goldplate but is not noticeable. 1950s.

Signed 'ALPACA'. Good condition, normal aging on the silvertone, it has dark patina and normal scuffs on the metal, especially on the backs and clips, probably silver plated. The clips are still tight. The front consists of iridescent abalone shells with white enamel details, very nice quality piece. Alpaca silver is a copper, nickel and zinc/iron alloy, and resembles sterling silver. Probably 1960s.

Good
condition, please note there is some slack in the cotton cords since it
is so long, you might like to rebead this if it bothers you. This is a
super long strand of faux pearls, the longest I ever had. It can even be
taken apart to make several necklaces I think. The glass beads are
satiny with a slight pinkish lustre, and have minor normal scuffs.

rustic appearance. It is matte silvertone and made of a soft metal,
possibly a zinc alloy of sorts and weighs on the heavy side. The front
is a floral style star design. Foldover clasp.

VINTAGE CELLULOID FLOWERS FAUX PEARL BRACELET SET

condition, bracelet has replaced new faux pearls, they are a pinkish
hue. The plating has shown wear on the pale gold-plating revealing a
greyish base, on the backs, edges and sides, it has been worn quite a
bit whose previous owner probably loved it to death but the set still
has some life left in it, as you can see it is a very pretty design with
no problems to the flowers and leaves! The tops have coral-coloured
celluloid flowers, likely Japan in origin, with painted green leaves.
This bracelet is short and will fit slimmer wrists. The earring clips
have quite some wear on the backs and chipping on the plating due to
verdigris (already cleaned off) but the fronts are very nice. The faux
pearls here are original and are off-white with a satin lustre. 1950s.

It has a foldover clasp and is not too heavy. There is just a tiny bit of bubbling on the underside of the clasp's plating. The clip earrings have a few minor chips on the lever clips on the back, the fronts have no problems. The colour of this set is a pale rose-goldtone. 1960s.

Overall this set is in very good condition, doesn't look like it has been worn. Plating is still shiny. Good condition with aging, the brass stick has patina spots, as well as the filigree cap. The shimmer white lucite plastic has some scuffs, it is not flat but curved. This is a very long stick pin, end is a disguise it doesn't come off, instead the whole metal stick is screwed to the top of the plastic piece. The pin itself has a pointed screw.

some areas on the front of the dog has worn off revealing a copper
base, the silvertone plating has also tarnished a golden hue. There is
significant aging on the piece, but all hardware is working good and
still very sturdy, very well made.The deco rhinestones have all aged and
darkened, a good portion of it is replaced vintage rhinestones, but
they are more shiny and white, but does not detract as much in person.
The basket is 3-D and has movement, other similar brooches I've seen
does not have the basket so this is a wonderful rare piece. 1920s-30s.

just one rub-off at the edge tip on one of the white petals. Enamel
chips are normal for these kinds of flower power brooches and one would
expect a chip one way or another. There are 2 crease lines on the inner
red petals but this appears to be from manufacturing than an accident
since none of the plating has flaked on those. The brooch is very large
and has 4 stacked petals with a white plastic dome in the center. The
inner red petals have a velvety appearance. 1960s.

This appears rather old, probably 1930s-40s or even earlier.

This is a rather large brooch, beautiful geometric design of a sunburst, slightly domed on the top, nice substantial weight. 1920s-30s.

One of the rhinestones is replaced with a similar vintage stock. The faux pearls do have scratches on them and rhinestones have aging. Pin-back with a bail. Probably 1960s.
